We exist because people forgot they are allowed to create
Every child arrives in the world creating. They don't ask whether the drawing is good enough, whether the colours match, whether anyone will approve. They just make things.
Somewhere along the way that changes. We learn to stay inside the lines, to compare, to avoid mistakes, to make things for a result rather than for the pleasure of it. Creativity quietly turns into something that requires talent instead of permission.
People don't stop creating because they run out of imagination. They stop because they lose the feeling that they are allowed to.
That is what this studio is for.
We don't sell bears
The bear is where it starts, not what you are buying. What you are actually here for is an hour where you stop performing and start playing — where the question in your head shifts from am I doing this right to what do I want to make.
There is no right bear. There is only your bear.
Every bear holds a moment
Years from now someone will find theirs on a shelf or in a box during a move. They won't remember which colours they picked. They'll remember who they were with, how they laughed, how the hour disappeared, how for a little while they felt completely free.
The bear is just what makes that easy to remember.
How we work
Our hosts are not judges and not critics, and they are not there to make your bear look better. If you make something unexpected, the first thing you will hear is not that's wrong — it is tell me about it. Curiosity before evaluation, every time. Behind an unusual choice there is usually a memory, a feeling or simply joy.
